GEOFF BREAKELL (WHERE IT ALL STARTED)

Breakell Racing has been involved in motorsport for many years. Firstly with Geoff Breakell starting as a young racing driver in the 1950's in sports car racing with his ex Tommy Sopwith Lotus 11 and moving on to a Lotus 15. In the 1970's Geoff drove one of only three Alfa Romeo GTA works cars ever made in the British Touring Car Championship for a few seasons and then went on to race Chevron Sports cars in yet more sports car racing series' both nationally and internationally. In the 1980's Geoff moved into club racing and took part in a few series' with various cars until in the late 80's and early 90's he competed in championships including the Mazda MX5 UK Cup and the Centurion Challenge with the same car.

During the 1980's Geoff's two daughters Rachel and Joanne,  raced in the Centurion Championship doing one hundred mile endurance races in a two litre Vauxhall Caterham.
