2018 Preview

The 2018 season is shaping up to be yet another exciting year of racing for Breakell Racing!!

This year we will be fielding a team of three Radical SR3’s in most 750 Motor Club Bikesports events and selected OSS events.

Our driver line up for the year consists of Adrian Reynard driving his Gulf liveried SR3 in Class A, Charles Graham in the White Daytona Motorsport Liveried SR3 in Class B and our newest team member Sean Peters will be driving our Orange SR3 RSX in Class B.

Adrian will be returning for another year with us to compete in the Bikesports championship and selected rounds of the OSS championship. Adrian is a very experienced driver with multiple race and championship wins achieved in his longing racing career including The European F2000 Championship in 1970’s, and the 750MC Bikesports Championship in 2015 to name a few.

Adrian is an extremely experienced and quick driver who if gets to the front of the pack stays there. Adrian will be one to watch this year.

Charles will be returning to race with us in the Bikesports and OSS races this year also. Charles made some real progress last year with a consistent progression of speed race by race. Class wins in class B last year where a highlight and we are sure Charles will be back on the pace for 2018.

Sean is our newest racer to join the team. Sean has a lot of experience racing in the MG car club in various models of car. Sean is a new comer to Radical racing and we are really excited to help with his progression from Radical newbie to a seasoned slicks and wings racer.

Breakell Racing will also be back racing at the Nurburgring for another year this year. James Breakell will be racing in the VLN championship again for WS Racing. This time out James will be driving a Porsche Cayman GT4 car in class SP6 which is an upgrade from the Opel Astra OPC Cup Car of last year. James is ready for this new challenge on the most demanding track in the world.

Breakell Racing hope to take on the Birkett 6hr relay race for another year in October. All going well we will field a team of 4 cars to compete in this epic event which always proves to be a challenge of vehicle reliability and driver stamina. We will post further news about this event as the preparations for it unfold later in the year.

In summary 2018 looks to be another exciting and challenging season. Let’s see how it unfolds.
