Breakell Racing Unveil 2025 Nürburgring 24 Hours Line-Up

Breakell Racing will be mounting a two-car assault on the legendary ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring later this month (19-22 June), with an exciting driver line-up confirmed across their Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport and BMW M240i Racing Cup.

The Nürburgring entry will mark the first major race event for a new branch of the successful British team, “Breakell Racing EU”. Based in Sinzig, Germany, around 25km from the Nürburgring, the new base comes as the team moves to expand their European racing portfolio.

The team intend to run multi-car programmes in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and Nürburgring 24 Hours in 2026 and beyond, alongside competing in more leading GT championships across the continent including in Belgium, Spain and Portugal.

Breakell Racing EU will be part of a mammoth 141-car grid battling it out in the 2025 ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring. Eight drivers will race for the team around the world-famous 15.77-mile, 170-turn Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit.

Team principal James Breakell first competed on the Nordschleife back in 2012 and has contested more than 25 races around “the Green Hell” since. 2025 will mark his fourth start in the 24-hour race, as he leads the line-up in the BMW M240i.

After sharing the BMW in the third round of the 2025 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie recently, N24h debutant Gino Manley and experienced Nordschleife racer Andreas Simon will team up again for the big race. They’ll be joined by regular N24h contender David Drinkwater.

Breakell Racing are entering their Porsche Cayman into the 24-hour race for a second time. Martin Rich makes his debut in the race after a strong performance in the qualifiers weekend last month, while Alvaro Fontes reunites with the team having competed in historic racing together in recent years.

An exciting addition to the team is former IndyCar driver Pippa Mann. The popular British racer, who has contested the Indy 500 on seven occasions, enters her fifth consecutive Nürburgring 24 Hours. Completing the Cayman line-up is regular GT4 racer Guillermo Aso.

James Breakell – Team Principal: “I’m delighted to unveil our driver line-up for the 2025 Nürburgring 24 Hours. Expanding to a two-car team for this year’s event is an exciting challenge for the team and it’s been a busy few months putting together the line-up for the big race.

“We’ve got an exciting combination of familiar names to the team and some new recruits, all of whom bring great racing experience whether on the Nürburgring or elsewhere. I believe we’ve got two strong line-ups that will produce great performances in two highly-competitive one-make classes.”

The 2025 ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring event takes place from the 19-22 June 2025. It starts with two qualifying sessions on Thursday, including one in darkness, before a third qualifying run the next day. A warm-up session on Saturday offers final preparation time before the 24-hour race, which starts at 16:00 local time. The race will be streamed live globally on the event’s official YouTube channel.
